The Creator’s Wisdom manifest in Creeping Things Genesis Day 5 & 6
This study will: 1. Reveal the Glory of God in the things He has made (Rom. 1:20). 2. Expose the flaws & delusions in evolutionary theory (I Cor. 1:19-21; 3:19). 3. Set us Free from a hopeless life of materialism by God’s truth (John 8:32). Genesis 1:24-25: Day 6:
“& God said, Let the earth bring forth the… creeping thing… after his kind: & it was so. & God made… every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: & God saw that it was good (Gen 1:24-25, 30). On Day 5 God created “every winged fowl” (flying Insects?). “… & God created… every winged fowl after his kind: & God saw that it was good (Gen. 1:20-2) [Winged fowl include bugs: Lev 11:20-25]
Most mature insects fly so could be created on Day 5 & Day 6
(Ps. 104:24) “O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all” (even 1 million species of insects!). Just as you hire people to test & find the bugs in a computer program so God designed ‘creeping things’ to expose the ‘bugs’ in the theory of evolution!
The Wisdom given to Solomon included wisdom gained from “creeping things” (1King 4:33). “Creeping things & flying fowl” praise the LORD (Ps. 148:10) & when we discover God’s wisdom revealed in them it will cause us to praise the LORD!
Creeping Things are ‘Arthropods’ [from 2 Greek words: ‘joint’ & ‘foot’]. Arthropoda has 5 sub-phylum including insects (hexopoda). There are 1 million described species; (possibly 5 to 10 million exist)!
Abundant fossils supply irrefutable evidence Darwinian Evolution is wrong. They offer no evidence for macroevolution. Insect Fossils begin in the Cambrian explosion (600mya). [mya = million years ago].
In Origin of Species, Darwin noted the abrupt emergence of arthropods in the fossils of the Cambrian is a major problem for evolutionary biology. (It still is!). (Osorio, Bacon & Whitington, American Scientist, May/June 1997, p. 244). Like bugs in a computer program, bugs totally mess up the Theory of Evolution!
God used insects to expose the vanity of Egypt’s false gods & set His people Free (Ex. 10:2)! Lice (3rd plague: Ex. 8:16-19; Ps. 105:31); Flies (4th plague: Ex. 8:20-32); Locusts (8th plague: Ex 10:1-20). God is again using insects to expose the vanity of the false gods of Evolutionary materialism (Rom. 1:20; Heb. 11:3). The 9th Plague after the insects was Darkness (Ex. 10:21-3). “We are in the dark concerning the origin of insects” (Grasse, Pierre-P, Evolution of Living Organisms, 1977, p. 30).
But God’s people did have light (Ex. 10:23)! “God made every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind” (Gen. 1:25; John 1:3). Let’s shed some light on the so-called evolution of bugs & Glory of God!
I.) Bugs Expose the Vanity of Evolution’s sacred trinity
Atheistic Scientists, determined to deny God, Create their own trinity: Time, Chance, Natural selection. What is Time? “The continued progress of existence & events in the past, present & future regarded as a whole. A system of measuring Duration.” It’s just a word describing something! See how Evolutionists made ‘Time’ a miracle working god:
“Time is in fact the hero of the plot…Given so much time, the “impossible” becomes possible, the possible probable, & the probable virtually certain. One has only to wait: time itself performs the miracles.” (George Wald, The origin of life, Scientific American 191(2): 44-53, Aug. (1954). The theory of evolution hopelessly goes against the Laws of Thermodynamics. Nothing gets better with a lot of time. Darwin robbed God of his Sovereign will & gave it to ‘time’! This is not empirical science but imagined stories to support a materialistic world view.
What is Chance? “random change without intelligence or purpose. Chance simply denotes the possibility of something happening by accident by unknown forces without design or purpose.” Chance denotes an inexplicable occurrence which materialists use to replace ‘miracle.’ Darwin robbed God of His infinite wisdom & gave it to chance!
What is Change by Chance? Just words describing an observation Something changes over time: “it becomes different.” They are mere ‘words’ used to hide the lack of empirical scientific evidence!
What is ‘natural selection?’ “The process by which heritable traits that make it more likely for an organism to survive & reproduce become more common over time. Leads to descent with modification.” This is the essence of Darwinism & believed to be the main process that brings about evolution. The definition is a Tautology which is a statement that is true by its own definition. (It is fundamentally meaningless!). “Natural selection is a tautology. It is defined after the fact as the process that produced certain organisms that survived.” (see references in Dr. Henry Morris, The Long War against God, 2000, p. 160-161).
Darwin robs God of His Omnipotence & gives it to natural selection.
Natural Selection is irrational & problematic. Richard Dawkins: “Natural selection is a blind watchmaker, blind because it does not see ahead, does not plan the consequences, has no purpose in view.” (The blind watchmaker, 1986, p. 21). How natural selection operates at the molecular level is a major problem in evolutionary biology (Yokoyama, “Color vision of the Coelacanth,” Journal of Heredity, May/June, 2000)
Have you surrendered your Rational Mind to the idols of Time & Chance? To think change by time & Chance can explain the existence of everything in our World & universe is absurd! They are mere words that describe things – not mechanisms that accomplish things!
Now Let’s Pursue God’s Wisdom hidden in ‘creeping things.’
A.) Insects invalidate Evolution’s false god of natural selection
Natural selection cannot create; it can only eliminate the less fit.
Darwin “did not have a single clear-cut piece of evidence for the existence of [natural] selection.” (Ernst Mayr, What Evolution Is, p. 121)
Bugs do things Impossible to Explain as the result of blind, undirected natural causes.
Charles Darwin in Origin of Species, Chapt 6, states: “If it could be demonstrated that any complex organ existed, which could’nt possibly have been formed by numerous, successive, slight modifications, my theory would absolutely break down. But I can find out no such case”
He was ignorant of the miraculous relationship between the Pronuba moth & yucca plant. He didn’t know about the Bombardier beetle! (Look them up on line and be amazed)! Unintelligent, blind, undirected natural selection would more likely kill than Create. Look up the Miraculous relationship of Mimosa girdler beetle with the mimosa tree. So many aspects of Bee society could never evolve by successive slight modifications. Blind, unintelligent natural selection would have killed the Butterflies. Just research the life cycle & migrations of the Monarch butterfly & it will be obvious! This is only 5 of the million!
B.) Insects have invalidated Evolution’s false god of Time
Evolutionist’s date arthropod fossils back to the Cambrian explosion (600mya). But observe that “The insect population of today remains remarkably similar to that of the earlier age” (Brues, 1951, “Insects in Amber.” Scientific American, pp. 60-61). There are no Transitional forms of any insect to support the Theory of Evolution. Dragonflies had 3ft. wing spans (300mya) but are just big versions of modern-day dragonflies. Cockroach fossils (350 mya) have not changed much. Missing links are still missing (Boucot, A J, Evolution & Extinction Rate Controls, 1975, p. 196). They are missing because they don’t exist!
The theory of evolution would require about 1,000 transitional forms for each species. 18 Billion transitional forms should be in the fossil record! Yet no clear examples exist among millions of exquisite fossils! (Jerry Bergman, Fossil Forensics: Separating Fact from Fantasy in Paleontology, chapt 7, Insect, p 135-169) [Great Book!]. The first 20 million yrs. Of insect evolution “are shrouded in mystery” (Brodsky, Andrei K. 1996. The Evolution of Insect Flight, p. 79).
There is no evidence for the Evolution of flying insects. The first insect fossils “are for the most part fully winged…but no convincing intermediates are known” (R.J Wootton, “Biomechanics & the Origin of Insect Flight,” in Biomechanics in Evolution, ed. Fayner, 1991, p. 99). The origin of insect wings & flight are “one of the most controversial topics in paleoentomology” (Conrad Labandeira, 1999. “Insects & Other Hexapods” in Encyclopedia of Paleontology. Vol. 1, p. 618). God wisely designed Insect Wings to cause the theory of evolution to crash.
C.) Insects invalidate Evolution’s false god of change by chance
(through mutations) or Natural Selection.
Drosophila (Fruit) Flies [egg to adult in 12 days]. “What has been seen to occur in Drosophila is the equivalent of many millions of years of normal mutations & evolution” (Jeremy Rifkin, Algeny (1983), p. 134). 400 different mutations identified but not even a hint of a new species evolving. “Fruit flies refuse to become anything but fruit flies.” (Francis Hitching, The Neck of the Giraffe: Where Darwin Went Wrong (1982), p.61). Drosophila prove no matter how many mutations occur in a species it always remains the same “biblical kind.”
Insect Male/Female sexuality: a nail in evolution’s coffin!
“Biologists are embarrassed by the subject [of sex] because of their ignorance. What sex is, why it evolved & how it works are the biggest unsolved problems in biology…We are still not certain why males exist; & why, if we must have them at all, nature needs so many” (Steve Jones, The Language of Genes, 1993, p. 84). Insect romance & sex points us to the Creator!
II.) INSECTS & THE PROBLEM OF EVIL
Insects & creeping things were affected by Adam’s fall into sin (Gen. 3). The Law declared some unclean & some clean & edible (Lev. 11:22, 41-44). God can use them as instruments of Judgment (Joel 2:25; Ps. 105:34); which repentance & prayer can prevent (I Kings 8:37-40; Joel 2:25; Amos 4:9; 2 Chronicles 7:13-14). We fail to realize how serious the fall into sin was & is! Man was to manage the insects (Gen. 2:15). Man’s sin brings the curse & death (Gen. 3). Most insect caused tragedies are man-made (2:15). Arthropods keep earth livable: no insects, no life on earth! Insects are major processors of waste. Eventually God Removes all Evil from all Creation! “In that day will I make a covenant for them with the beasts of the field… & with the creeping things of the ground: & I will break the bow & the sword & the battle out of the earth & will make them to lie down safely” (Hosea 2:18; Rev. 21 & 22).
